Synopsis:

Lady Agnes, the daughter of an aristocracy, is the "Rose among thorns," among nobles and royals, because of her unmatched beauty. Bernard, on the other hand, is a little rural village far from the city and the fifth son of a Lord. Lady Agnus first looks down on Bernard with disgust, probably due to his lower position. Five years later, Lady Agnes's family loses everything when her father is tried for embezzlement.
