Synopsis:

The world has placed its trust in the most notorious and powerful criminals, turning them into heroes. The "Hero’s Punishment" is the most severe sentence, reserved for those who have committed grave sins. As part of their atonement, these criminals are forced to battle the Demon Lord's army, which emerged due to a catastrophic event caused by the Demon Lord. Even if they fall in battle, these heroes are resurrected to fight again. This group of punished heroes includes a berserker who has fought for centuries, the world's most reviled villain, a corrupt politician, a self-proclaimed terrorist, and an assassin with a record of failure.
